She is a postdoctoral researcher at the German Institute for Social Policy Research (University of Duisburg-Essen and University Bremen) at the SOCIUM Research Center on Inequality and Social Policy, University of Bremen. Her research focuses on employment in later life, employment and pension policy as well as gender aspects of the life course. She has extensive experience in employing a variety of qualitative methods in different research projects as well as teaching employment relations in several study programs across the social sciences.
