He is Associate Professor in Economic Sociology at the Department of Social and Political Sciences (SPS), University of Milan. He has extensively studied work organization, employment relations and labour regulation in the public services, especially in care services. He is also an expert in the comparative analysis of health, social, and childcare systems. He was the PI of the project SOWELL – Social Dialogue in Welfare Services). His recent work was published in Forum for Social Economics, Transfer: European Review of Labour and Research, International Journal of Sociology and Social Policy, and Social Policy Review.
