UNI-Bremen
She is Professor of Sociology at SOCIUM Research Center on Inequality and Social Policy, University of Bremen. Her research focuses on life courses, social policy, age and ageing, employment, generations and social inequality. From 2010 to 2017, she was the head of the DFG-funded independent Emmy Noether research group “Paid work beyond pension age in Germany and the UK” at the University of Bremen.
She (co-)edited several books, and published numerous book chapters and articles in journals such as Frontiers in Sociology, Ageing and Society, Journal of Population Aging, Sociological Review or Work, Aging and Retirement.
